Bible Society of Nigeria Launches 2022 NYSC Essay Writing Competition

The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) has launched the 11th edition of its annual essay writing competition.

This competition is aimed at currently serving graduates and aims to analyze and propose solutions to Nigeria’s socio-economic and political challenges using both biblical and intellectual approaches.

According to BSN, the essay must be original, empirical, and meet publication standards in local and international journals.

The subject of the essay “Re-engineering the Nigerian System for Sustainable Development”, and the start date is Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, June 30, 2022.

According to BSN, interested corpers should send their application to: [email protected] or Spiral-bound hard copy to “The Bible Society of Nigeria, Adebowale House, 150 Ikorodu Road, Onipanu, Lagos State”.

BSN states that “All entries should be typed using 1.5 line spacing on A4 paper with a minimum of 3,000 words and a maximum of 4,000. The font type should be Times New Roman and the font size “12”

“The essay must have a cover page containing the full name, title of the essay, primary duty station, current phone number, and working email address.

“A scanned copy/photocopy of the appeal letter and ID card must be submitted with the essay. All entries must be received no later than Thursday, June 30, 2022.”
