Pressman Academy launches ECG working group

The India-based Pressman Academy for Print Education and Research (PAPER) will launch an online working group to undertake Extended Color Gamut (ECG) projects, with the aim of encouraging more printers to try this process.

This group will include all technical partners who have equipment manufacturers, software developers, measuring device manufacturers, printers, consumables manufacturers, etc.

“This idea is the result of our first ECG assessment work in association with Nilpeter India, PVG College of Engineering and Technology, Pune, etc. at Nilpeter’s facility in Chennai. In fact, this project has been taken up by final year students under the guidance of Dr. Akshay V Joshi, Print Engineering Department, PVG COET, ”said K Panthala Selvan of PAPER.

The working group has its first event on December 18, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. where they officially launch it and will present their first project.
